The ABC of Cyber Crime Discovered By Euro Agency
The European Union Intellectual Property Office used up a few months to investigate into the tactics of IP offenders and compiled a report.
According to them, IP offenders are often using a technique known as domain squatting and through affiliate programs, BitTorrent and Bitcoin as means to carry out their offending operations.
They gain monetary benefits by selling counterfeit products on the internet and then also make money by setting up ad spots on their websites. Although their websites are illegal, they are still very popular amongst people looking to acquire cheap or free stuff.
