Cyber Security Course In Newport Wins GCHQ Backing
A cyber security course in Newport has been approved by the UK Government’s communication and intelligence headquarters GCHQ.
The new course was created at the Cyber Security Academy at the University of South Wales Newport Campus. IT is a master’s level course in Computer forensics.
The university is one of the 14 universities across the United Kingdom to receive a certification from the government. But it is the only university that is recognized for masters level computer course especially in the forensics field and it is also the only one in Wales.
The first group of students will be taken in October.
