Cybersecurity Task Force Is Seeking New Security Framework
New cybersecurity framework is needed for healthcare industry
In a draft report being released this month, the health care industry cybersecurity task force is calling the government to create new policies around cyber security that will help many health care organizations strengthen their efforts to fight cyber crimes.
While the details of the report have six vague imperatives, one of them was clear ‘calling for more awareness of the issue at hand. The other imperatives called for the introduction of specific laws and standards that would have more clear effects across the health industry to form a new cybersecurity framework specific to them.
