G7 Global Finance Leaders Meet To Discuss Cybersecurity
In a recent G7 meeting, the U.S. Treasury official admitted that cyber security issues were far from going away.
With the rise in recent cyber attacks against the financial sector, the representatives of Group of Seven (G7) and the leading advanced economies in the world met together to push the topic of cybersecurity to the front of the conversation at the meeting that was held in Japan.
G7 nations are constantly conducting assessments of their respective financial sectors in terms of cyber security and its infrastructure. They aim to come to an agreement to set common standards in cybersecurity in October.
