Recently, the National Association of Federal Credit Unions requested the congress to pass a legislation that recommends strict standards for the retailers that will help them fight against hackers.

 

Hackers are constantly evolving their methods of cyber attacks. They now use complex malware to breach firewalls and emails. They are now also able to mimic voicemails and emails that convince the common employees of retail companies to do wire transfers. So training these employees is a good start so that they can understand the threats they face.

 

The business sector in May faced 48.4% data breaches alone. Retailers led the category.
