The policy on cyber security in the U.S. seen an up and down path.

 

During December last year, the congress had passed a bill that made it easier for software companies in the U.S. to keep their proprietary technology. It also encouraged them to share any data they have on cyber security issues. It was a strong push from the authorities in order to help combat threats that are rapidly changing.

 

But then in April 2016, a new bill was introduced that would force any U.S companies to provide backdoor access to encrypted data which would reveal personal information of users of that technology.
