Travels Are At Huge Risk When Connected To Public Wi-Fi – Finds Kespersky Lab
If you are kind of a person who quickly logs on to public networks whenever you land on new soil, you should stop, think and reconsider. There are tons of public Wi-Fis which are extremely insecure to join and they could cause you to lose personal data.
Kaspersky Lab recently did a study which used 11,850 people for the survey who revealed they were victims of cyber crime when they were abroad. This is due to unsecure wi-fis they join when they land in a new country.
People are used to connecting immediately because that is the only way they can find out about maps, restaurants and other happenings in the location.
