US Will Train Cambodian Government For Cyber Crime Protection
The United States recently invited over a few Cambodian officials to learn about how to combat Cyber Crime from U.S cyber security experts.
This is a much needed move because just recently several countries and their nongovernmental organizations have expressed serious concerns over the recently rising global cyber crime. They all agreed that Cambodia needs a new Cybercrime law.
Currently, secretary of state at the ministry of Posts and Telecommunications estimates that at least 7 million Cambodians use the internet on a daily basis. This is giving rise to cyber crime as more and more people are becoming victims of cyber threats and attacks. Personal data is being stolen and fraudulent over the internet is becoming common.
