Virginia To Double Cyber Security Workforce
Virginia is planning on doubling its cybersecurity workforce. This was evident when the state chief information officer made a statement.
He gave a video interview at the National Association of State Chief Information Officers midyear conference in Baltimore.
Nelson Moe told that the state is working to establish a center that will focus entirely on cybersecurity that will constantly help state agencies with security issues and audits that come up.
He believes that adding in more cybersecurity workforce will greatly increase the cybersecurity potential and that the states will have more ways to face these challenges.
