A nonprofit Center for Cyber Security and Education and Raytheon Company has awarded two women college students around $10,000 in scholarships and a paid internship in order to encourage them to develop their cyber security skills and career.

 

The Raytheon Women’s Cybersecurity Scholorship is part of the company’s latest attempt and effort aimed purely at developing cyber security interest and talent around the world. The company is administered by CCSE, it aims to award at least 2 students every year.

 

For the past few years, Raytheon company has also sponsored National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition which is the largest competition in the U.S.
